i am here

Fri Sep 10, 2004, 3:28 AM
i'm alive, or at least i think so. i've resurfaced, but i think i might curl up until school starts. i've got another nine days until they'll let me move in. fuckers. i'm homeless in WA and i might sleep on the street this weekend, or crash in olympia, or travel always.

the road trip was amazing. i miss jess, sometimes i wish i weren't so far away, but it's better this way. since i put her on the plane everything is becoming more real. this is the first writing i've done since the end of august. the campus is dead right now, and there must be only 30 people on it. everyone except people staying through interterm are gone from the summer.

bah. i'm going to head back to seattle tomorrow and run around, go to a show or five, meet a pretty girl, and forget. i'm indifferent right now to just about everything. so um.. send me a line to tell me you're well, that would be nice.

Everyone I love isn't going to be near me until this summer.

That... um.. sucks. Yes. That's the word.

It sucks.

I miss you.

Was tooteling around in my DA account for the first time in a while and saw your comment about the having picnic which prompted me to come over to your page to see what you had been up to which in turn led me to notice that your stated name is Johanna which brought to mind the Bob Dylan song so now I'm playing it.

"And these visions of Johanna make it all seem so cruel"

Hope all goes well.

The west windsor library used to be awesome but now it sucks. Who remembers? Back when it was in the post office building and had those weird columns filled with water that made "uurrmmbl" noises when you banged on them.

I miss that stuff.

We're going to right the world and live our lives the way lives were meant to be lived. With the throat and the wrists. And love till it hurts maybe, but goddamn girl. Live.

oh by the way, I got American Music by Liebowitz outta the library awhile ago, fantastic book.
do you have any Nan Goldin books? I saw an exhibition of hers awhile back (including a montage of her photos set to one of Bjork's less successful songs, which was the second in silly pretension only to Sigur Ros's video to the first track on ( )) in Canada and that's all I've ever seen.

I got it outta the Princeton library, so if you or one of yer parents works in the boro you can get it from there; I dunno about the West Windsor library
