the road trip was amazing. i miss jess, sometimes i wish i weren't so far away, but it's better this way. since i put her on the plane everything is becoming more real. this is the first writing i've done since the end of august. the campus is dead right now, and there must be only 30 people on it. everyone except people staying through interterm are gone from the summer.
bah. i'm going to head back to seattle tomorrow and run around, go to a show or five, meet a pretty girl, and forget. i'm indifferent right now to just about everything. so um.. send me a line to tell me you're well, that would be nice.

That... um.. sucks. Yes. That's the word.
It sucks.
I miss you.

We're going to right the world and live our lives the way lives were meant to be lived. With the throat and the wrists. And love till it hurts maybe, but goddamn girl. Live.

do you have any Nan Goldin books? I saw an exhibition of hers awhile back (including a montage of her photos set to one of Bjork's less successful songs, which was the second in silly pretension only to Sigur Ros's video to the first track on ( )) in Canada and that's all I've ever seen.
